Jessamine Cottage Environmentally Friendly Conservation Policy
Jessamine Cottage Bed and Breakfast has a very real commitment to Green Management and Sustainability
and therefore understands the need to use environmentally friendly cleaning products Jessamine Cottage
tries to reduce the chemicals it uses for all types of cleaning.
The main plank of the process is to use products with ZERO or minimal impact. To this end we have invested
in Steam Cleaners. These just use water or distilled water which leaves no residue and no chemicals. Our
latest investment was in a Montiss Steam Cleaner which is working very well
Then we are using traditional recipes for cleaning materials and have found that vinegar and salt are
tremendous cleaners. Salt and vinegar can clean the stubbornest stains from a tiled floor and are great for not
leaving a residue. There are plenty of tips around on how to use these super friendly products which have been
in use for hundreds of years.
